Grocery Grab Fundraiser Benefits Christian Action Ministries

Grocery Grab Fundraiser benefits Christian Action Ministries

Junior Auxiliary of Taney County held their grocery grab fundraiser and had a great time with it.  The drawing was held on November 18, and the event itself was held on November 23.  Sponsors were Rhodes Family Price Chopper, Doug Baker State Farm Insurance, and Branson Tri-Lakes News.  They helped JATC make this happen and blessed many people’s lives.

“Drew Rhodes, store owner; Matt Young, store director; and Chip Robertson, store manager were such a pleasure to work with.” stated Sheryl Schiller, Corresponding Secretary for JATC.  “We would like to extend a big thank you to them all.”

Winners were Mandy Farrow, First Place Shopping Spree; Christine Bailey, Second Place $100 gift card; and Rachel Goeke, Third Place $50 gift card.  Mandy, who now resides in Texas donated her winning ticket to CAM, as did Rachel Goeke.

Michele Dean (CAM Executive Director) did the four-minute shopping spree on behalf of CAM and collected almost $900 in groceries and other needed items for Thanksgiving dinner.  Michele said, “This is a true blessing for CAM and will help so many people.  Branson has such a caring community.”

Grocery Grab puts the fun in fundraisers.  JATC would like to thank all community members who purchased tickets for this event.  JATC has something exciting happening regularly, so please be sure to check out their media pages.

If you would like to see a replay of the fun action, I suggest that you watch the live feed playback on the Junior Auxiliary of Taney County Facebook page.
