The Junior Auxiliary of Taney County recently awarded $500 scholarships to students in Bradleyville, Branson, Forsyth and Hollister.

The non-profit organization renewed a scholarship for Landon Cook of Bradleyville, and presented new scholarships to Jenna Murphy and Joshua Gardner of Branson; Lexie Rick and Laura Westfall of Hollister; and Shelby Head of Forsyth.

The Junior Auxiliary offers at least one scholarship to each high school in Taney County.

Awards are based in part on community volunteer efforts.
