Thank You, Mr. G's!

Delicious food, fun and generosity were the order of the day at Mr. G’s Pizza in Branson on September 25 and 26, 2024.  This was our 10th JATC Days at Mr. G’s and once again Ryan Holmes and our community showed their support for our organization.

Mr. G’s owner, Ryan Holmes, continues to give back to his community on an annual basis with this fundraiser where he donates 50% of food receipts from those two days to JATC.  Junior Auxiliary of Taney County (JATC) members, their family and friends gathered to partake of the delicious food, knowing that the children and families of Taney County would be the true beneficiaries. From purchases made JATC earned $660 and Ryan Holmes donated an additional $340 which brought the total to $1000.

Ryan commented “I appreciate everything Junior Auxiliary does for the children in our community.  These ladies work hard to make that happen.”

This money will go to support several projects JATC holds each year including Santa’s Gift House which will be held on December 14 this year at the Branson Tri-Lakes News Community room.  Other projects are scholarships for each of the 4 Taney County high schools, Tender Critters which provides stuffed animals for children in trauma situations, Celebrate Reading which is all about providing books for children in our community and fun programs to encourage that reading continues, Kindness Effect Cards where residents of senior living and assisted living homes receive cards letting them know that we are thinking of them, SteamPunk Academy which provides fun activities on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, and more.

JATC is more than a nonprofit organization, it’s a group of women united by a single cause.  We are dedicated to helping and making a difference in the lives of the children of Taney County. That’s the magic of JATC.  It was chartered by a group of caring, enthusiastic women in 1998 and continues to grow and thrive throughout Taney County.  Approximately 40 members annually contribute more than 4,000 volunteer hours as they strive to improve the mental, physical, social and emotional well-being of children in Taney County. Visit our website at www.jatcmo.org to learn more about our organization.
