What Does Junior Auxiliary of Taney County Mean to You?
What does Junior Auxiliary of Taney County mean to you?
My number one response would be that it gives me the opportunity to help children in our community through various service projects such as Scholarship/ScholarCare, Tender Critters, Prom Dress, Empowering the Little Dreamers at the Women’s Crisis Center, Santa’s Gift House, etc.
But another aspect of JA is the opportunity to meet other women with that same goal. I’ve made lots of new friends over the years that I’ve been in JA. It’s interesting to see how these women all approach the goal of helping kids.
I love making new friends and I know some of the women I have met will be life-long friends. Recently my mom passed away. I know I was blessed to have her in my life for 70 years, but that didn’t make it any easier. My JA sisters helped immensely. I was amazed by the amount of support I received from these women, and I appreciate every one of them.
My question to all of you is “What does JATC mean to you?” I don’t care if you’re a member of JA or not. I’m sure you have a reason to support the organization. Would you take the time to send a response to jatcmo@gmail.com?
I’d love to hear your responses and be able to share them with current members of JA. I’d also like to hear any new suggestions you have of ways to help the children in our community. I look forward to hearing from you.
