Junior Auxiliary of Taney County is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, and this is our biggest "fun"draiser of the year. This is where we raise most of the funds for our Service projects which include Scholarships for all 4 Taney County High Schools; Santa's Gift House where kids get to learn the joy of giving; School Supplies Replenishment which gives schools a boost in January/February when crayons have broken, marker caps have been lost, and glue sticks have dried up; Celebrate Reading whose goal is to get books into the hands of kids and provide a special celebration of reading which will be called "Reading by the Campfire" this year; Tender Critters which provides stuffed animals to comfort children in Trauma situations; STEAMpunk Academy is a project that provides hand-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics; Turn Off and Tune In, a Family Game Night; and Christmas Assistance which provides low-income children with coats, gloves, outfits, a toy, and a book.
JATC provides services to improve the lives of children in this community by providing necessities and programs that help with their emotional, social and leadership growth. That's where the theme for our 22nd Annual Trivia came from "Celebrating Service". Please consider joining us at this special 22nd Annual Trivia Event so we may raise the funds necessary to help us provide these projects.
